Highlighting Contemporary Art in Georgia: Cut & Paste, Works of Paper

2019-2020

Curated by Didi Dunphy, organized by the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia and Lyndon House Arts Center. Venues: Lyndon House Arts Center, Athens; Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences; Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking, Georgia Tech, Atlanta; Albany Museum of Art; Jepson Center, Telfair Museum, Savannah

From rubber molds of inherited objects that I use in my home, I have created multiple pieces (vases, jugs, pitchers) from paper pulp, plaster, pigment, fabric, and my daughter’s hair. They have been shown at ArtFields in Lake City, South Carolina and The Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The making of these molded pieces is ongoing.

Drawings on paper and some of my paper pulp pots were part of the traveling exhibition Cut & Paste, Works of Paper.
